Pageant of Transport – Weston – super – Mare
May 1, 2027 @ 10:30 AM - May 2, 2027 @ 11:30 PM
Good Morning Friends. Apologies for the SLOW UPDATES!!! Things are going on in the background. The event is run by me on behalf of the Sea Cadets as I am part of the Unit Management Team. Unfortunately it was debated whether to run next year or not as it is my intention to move away from Weston-super-Mare. Now, being a glutton for punishment, I have agreed to do the paperwork, and if still not moved by then, attend the event. Meanwhile 2 people have agreed to run the days of the event if I am absent. So Rana Graham our supporter from Dakota Saloon and Sarah Jeffrey a staff member at Sea Cadets will stand in, so Thanks to them we have an Event.
BE AWARE……..We have had to change the date as Easter is early next year and after the Cold windy event this year, plus the threat of a hard winter from El Nino, we have had to move the event to the First and 2nd May2 2027. I know this may clash with other events that you regularly attend, so apologies in advance, we hope that you will still come along to our event.
We are hoping to have tickets available from ticketebo on Friday, please wait for a post confirming this. Prices for tickets will be the same as last year, £7.50 for either Saturday or Sunday and £12.50 for both days. Again it will be £10 cash on the gate if not booking in advance. We will again be fencing off Lawns 4 and 5 for public donation on entrance to these Lawns and the Hardstanding.
The Hardstanding again will be fenced off used by Dakota Saloon for a Country and Weston Event, free during the day but in the evening from 5pm to 10.30 both nights for a ticketed Country and Western experience. Ticket Prices will be announced soon. A new Horsebox Bar is also being provided by them, plus Medical and Security Services, provided entirely free of Charge to support the event.
We again have the Creative Culinary Delights of Weston’s own Passion and Soul Food, the best Weston has to offer, supported by Ollies Lollies and Alfies Ices, all three being long supporters and giving generously to the Cadets.
