Patina! – Dartford

The PATINA Classic Car Show is a celebration of the unrestored classic and vintage cars we love most. It’s a festival for the imperfect, the well-used, and the wonderfully original—cars that wear their history with pride.

From beautifully preserved survivors that have never been restored to daily-driven classics rich with patina and character, every car has a story to tell. Even the ones that seem to be held together by little more than hope, determination, and affection are warmly welcomed.

Expect greasy engine bays, weathered paintwork, and plenty of honest motoring. White linen is probably not the best choice—pull on a pair of overalls instead and join us for a relaxed day in the stunning surroundings of Lullingstone Castle.

Bring a picnic blanket, pack a hamper, and enjoy a leisurely day among like-minded enthusiasts.

PATINA awards celebrate originality, character, and good humour, with prizes including:

Best Preserved
Least Likely to Get Home
Most Elaborate Picnic
Most in Need of a Polish
Best in Show
Worst in Show

Visitors will be invited to vote for their favourite vehicles, helping to decide the Best and Worst in Show awards.

Restored classics are also very welcome and will have their own dedicated display on the meadow beside the main house, within the beautiful walled gardens of Lullingstone Castle.

Entrance for exhibitors from 08:00
