Classic Car & Restoration Show – Birmingham

The Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show returns to the NEC, celebrating traditional craftsmanship, automotive heritage and hands-on restoration expertise.
For technicians, apprentices and garage owners with an interest in heritage engineering and modern diagnostics, this year’s show promises more action than ever, with a record 120 live restorations taking place across the exhibition halls.
From mechanical recommissioning to body fabrication, visitors can watch skilled specialists demonstrate their techniques in real time. These practical displays sit alongside an impressive collection of more than 1,300 vehicles representing over 160 car clubs.
The auction programme is set to attract plenty of attention, with Iconic Auctioneers staging its biggest-ever Classic Car Sale, featuring 270 lots. Meanwhile, the Your Shout Stage will welcome trade experts and familiar television faces, including Richard Hammond, Dominic Chinea and Mike Brewer, to share insights into restoration methods and projects.
Rounding out the weekend are hands-on workshops, the Lancaster Insurance Pride of Ownership competition, the Footman James Barn Find showcase and Sporting Bears charity dream rides—making the event a celebration of classic motoring, practical skills and the people keeping automotive history alive.
